I'm looking forward to reading the book. Jeff Griggs' GURU is a fascinating look into Del's last few years.
I am very gracious to have had the opportunity to have taken classes from Del. But even more so, I was blessed with the chance to have seen Del in a different light on a day-long trip to St Louis with Ed and Trish. Del's presence scared a lot of people, but this day in St. Louis, I saw the pureness of Del as we drove him around looking for a house he used to live in.
It is s day that forever will be burned into my memory.
WHAT? Its not really his skull? I missed that news!
I really hope that the Guru movie gets made in the near future. Harold Ramis was attached to the project awhile ago, and he wants Bill Murray to play Del.
